Pridgen Tire and Auto Center, Inc. began when Foster Morris Pridgen, Sr. stopped shoeing horses at City Horse Shoe Company and started shoeing cars. We have been serving the tire and automotive repair needs of Rocky Mount residents since December of 1972. MH Pridgen built his business on the idea that first-class customer service should never be a suprise, it should be expected. This dedication to customer service, matched with the best name brands in tires was a recipe for success. We are currently on the fourth generation of Pridgens to service the Rocky Mount motoring the public's tire and automobile repair needs.   

 As our business grew throughout the 1970s and the 1980s, so did the desire to offer more automotive services to our client base. Computerized wheel alignments and tire balancing, brake services, suspension service, and computerized vehicle diangostics became cornerstones of our service offerings. MH pridgen retired in 1998, and now Jeff and Steve Pridgen have stepped in to fill his shoes.
